BERRY, BIXLER -
I am searching for the Virginia County my g-g-g- grandparents were born in. All I have is John
and Susan Berry born Virginia. This is on the death cert of their son George Washington
Berry born Feb 1.1809 Muskingum co Ohio. His obit says he was born on Wills Creek as near
as I can tell Wills Creek is now located starting in Coshocton Co Oh and flowing down almost the
length of Gurnsey Co. George W Berry married Magdalena Bixler in 1833. We are
posted on the Berry DNA project board #38. I have connected my Berry family to
another Berry family, Joel Berry Md Mary Bixler 1830. Everything I can find
states Joel Berry was b. Rockingham CO Virginia I haven't been able to connect Joel or my
John Berry to a family to go on back from Fairfield Co. Ohio. If there is anyone out there
that knows anything about this family please help me. Julia

HARLOW, WILKINSON -
I am looking for ancestors to Richard Austin Harlow. His daughter's name was Catherine H.
Wilkinson (Husband Theodore S.) who lived in Washington DC in 1930. I believed she had a
daughter named Joan Susannah Wilkinson from Arlington Virginia. I am looking for them
because I am writing and recording historical information about the "Jawbone Railroad"
that Richard A. Harlow founded in Montana. We currently own his large ranch in the Snowy
Mountains. He was a very prominent railroad man and lawyer. His dad's name was George H.
Harlow who had lived and worked in Chicago for the Board of Trade. It is said that he died
at his estate in Rosslyn VA. in or about 1938. I am very interested in preserving the history of
our area and could really use your expertise. Thank you so much for your time and effort!

GEORGE -
Seeking any information on John George, born 1846-1855 in Virginia. In the 1910 census it
lists him as being born in Va., his father from England and his mother from Va. He is residing in
Moore County, North Carolina. In the 1920 census it lists him from Va., his father from Va. and
his mother from Va. On both marriage licenses it lists him from Va., but mother and father
unknown, as does his death certificate from 1929. All I have are stories from his earlier life to
go on. His father died first and then his mother dies after a long illness. On the day that his
mother is buried, he enlists in the Army. He lived in either Alabama and/or Georgia for a short
time before coming to North Carolina where he started out there as a woodcutter. He had a
girlfriend/wife that died in childbirth in 1901. Her name was Velener/Valener or something like
that. His occupation in N.C. was farmer.

POWERS -
Seeking any and all info available regarding my great-grandfather, William Powers and
great-grandmother, Minerva Powers. Lived in Virginia, assume born there, moved to Ohio
after Civil War. 2 children, Nan or Nannie (my grandmother) and Dolph or Adolphus (who settled in
Missouri). I do not know the county where they lived. William was a doctor, I've been told, and
was a friend of Samuel Mudd. Thanks a lot for any info. I am desperate, I need a lead.
