HORTON, ROBERTS -
I am still in search for info on this line of Roberts. I am still up against a brick wall.
My GGrandfather was Hollis T. Roberts, born in Canada in 1850. This info comes from the
1880 Pontotoc County, MS Federal Census. On this census he states that his father was born in
Virginia and his mother in North Carolina. Also in that census I find his mother and sister, both
named Mary, and their info matches his as to places of birth. His sister Mary shows to have been
born in Canada in 1844-1846. I guess I am up against an impossible situation of finding a
marriage between a Virginian Roberts and a NC female in the period of say between
1825-1845. His mother was born in 1810. I figure they were probably from somewhere along the VA
and NC border but am not certain. I have no idea why they were in Canada when these two were born
or when they went there. Hollis and Mary are the only two children I am aware of. Both of them
got married in MS about 1870. She married a William Horton, had a daughter named Fannie
and I can find no trace of her or Fannie after 1880. Hollis had 5 children including my
Grandfather Thomas. All of them except my Grandfather disappeared from MS after 1890 and left no
trace. His other children were Henry, Bettie, William, and Jennie. I have not been successful in
finding any of their descendants. I would definitely like to find out the given name of Hollis's
father and the maiden name of his mother. Any help you or others there in VA can give me will be
greatly appreciated.

DAVIS, GRAHAM,
SEWELL, WETZEL -
I would like to hear from anyone that is researching the Wetzel families that were in MD
1792-95 where George and Elizabeth were born to Peter and Elizabeth Wetzel. The other nine
children were born in Wythe Co. VA. They are: Mary, John Frederick, Samuel, Anna, Sophia,
Michael, Peter and Jesse. Most of the children left Wythe Co. after after 1835. Am especially
interested in knowing if Peter (son) and wife Matilda Davis stayed in Virginia, Samuel and
wife Susan Sewell where did they go and Michael and wife Angelina Graham. Will
share my information also. Thanks

EDWARDS, SOUTHARD, SOUTHERN -
I am searching for the parents of Susan Edwards, born August 22, 1812, in VA. I am not
aware of any siblings. She was my GreatGreatGrandmother. She married Samuel Southern/
Southard. There was a bond for marriage given Dec 23, 1841, in Northampton Co., NC, for a
Samuel Southard and Susan Edwards. The bondsman was John R. Boykin. Susan and her 3
children moved from NC to Jasper Co., MO, arround 1875, and died March 10, 1885, and is buried in
Harvey Cem, Jasper Co, MO. Any help or directions you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

FAULTNER, FULKNER, FULTNER, WHEELER -
Seeking information about family of William Fultner/ Fulkner/ Faultner. 1880
census record from Missouri shows that William was born in Virginia in approx 1821. He married a
Jane Wheeler. They had 6 children: Mary E., James T., Rachel C., Nancy A., Samuel H., Ruth
E. Any help would be appreciated.
